About Guess the Time

Guess the Time started with a simple question: how well can you tell how much time has passed, without a clock?

What we do

We build free, lightweight browser games that test and train your time perception — your brain's ability to estimate short durations. No downloads, no accounts, no paywalls. Just open the page and play.

Why a timing game?

Time perception is one of those skills everyone uses but few people practice. Musicians rely on it for rhythm, athletes for pacing, cooks for doneness, and all of us for showing up on time. Yet most people are surprisingly bad at estimating even 10 seconds accurately. We wanted a game that's fun in the moment and quietly useful over time.

Built for everyone

The game works on any device with a browser — phones, tablets, laptops — and supports solo play as well as groups of up to 100 players through Teams mode. It's designed to be usable in classrooms, at parties, during breaks, or anywhere you have a spare moment.

How the site is supported

Guess the Time is free to use, supported by advertisements shown on the pages. We keep ads unobtrusive so they don't interfere with gameplay. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
